Prayer for Every Day of the Week: Saturday
Start the New Year right with some of my favorite focused prayer prompts for each day of the week.
Join me each day for seven days and let’s see what God will do…
7 Days of Focused Prayer
I wish I knew who to thank for these prayers that I’ve been praying each week for so many years. They have become part of my daily devotional journey! I wanted to share them with you this first week of the new year.
They are so short and sweet and yet profound and deep at the same time.
They can function easily as beginning prayer prompts for you each day. For one week or for many weeks. For as long as the Lord leads.
Perhaps they will lead you to go even deeper into prayer for each day’s topic. I know that’s how it works for me.
Suggestion: Why not save and pray these each week through the New Year?
Saturday’s Verse
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30 TLB
Prayer for Every Day of the Week: Saturday
Thank you for creating fun, for inventing so many ways to laugh and so many varieties of play. Renew in me the energy to be silly and playful. Teach me to see the humor hiding within the serious business of life. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Bible Study for the New Year
Many people start their year digging deeper into their Bibles with the hope of growing their relationship with God. This year, I encourage you to pick up a copy of Personalities in the Bible to learn more about these beloved people from the Bible and how they are just like you.
