God is the Victor
My Father, Thank You that You are THE VICTOR. We who are called by Your Name, long to have victory over sin. You ARE that VICTORY. We turn to You for wisdom and insight how to be more than conquerors in these days of overwhelming challenges and uncertainty. Teach us Your will. Teach us Your ways. Give us a hunger for Your Word where we find salvation and Truth. I pray, My Father, that we live our lives to bring You joy. Thank You!
God created us for a love relationship
And that is exactly why God is so intent on pursuing us until we find Him He arranges circumstances so we learn that we find our hope in God alone. All other ground is sinking sand. I am daily grateful that even in these confusing and perilous times, nothing takes the LORD by surprise; and no one is “bigger” than God–in power and wisdom.
Distractions
satan is real. He wants to keep us from relationship with our Heavenly Father. He wants to keep us out of Heaven. He is very creative and knows our weaknesses. It is stunning how much his pride controls him. He was actually thrown out of heaven because he wanted to be LIKE the MOST HIGH GODl! He seeks power.
He is the father of lies.
He wants to defeat us, to depress and discourage us. He wants us to be an island unto ourselves and to worship him, rather than God. He defeats us by distracting us and making us worried about many things. (Like Martha, in the Bible.) That is all true, BUT…REMEMBER…
Be encouraged
Yes, he wants to keep each one of us from God. He might win a few skirmishes, but he cannot and will not win in the end. because God is the LORD and VICTOR over satan. That is why it is imperative that we KLU because GIB!!! Keep our eyes on the LORD and NOT on the circumstances.
Perspective
Sometimes we feel joyless, peace-less, powerless. However, when we KLU because GIB, we get things in proper perspective. God IS big! Bigger than anything that threatens to disarm us. When we start each day reading His love letter to us (the Bible) and humbling ourselves in prayer, seeking His face, and turning away from evil and toward God AND THEN are attentive to putting on the armor of God (see Ephesians 6:10).
And also remembering this…
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. – I John 5:14-15

Promises, promises…
THEN My Father, You promise You will hear our prayers from Heaven, You will forgive our sins, and heal our land (from 2 Chronicles 7:14).

God is the Victor Prayer
My Father, You call us to that SURRENDER that Ruth Paxon speaks of because You want us to BE Your repentant ones (those who have turned the lordship of our lives over to you). You call us to fight for LIFE and protection of those who cannot defend themselves, to fight for JUSTICE for all, to fight for WIDOWS and ORPHANS, to fight for the POOR—for those who cannot fight for themselves—like the PRE-BORN in the womb, You call us to fight in prayer for the souls of those who have not met You on a personal relationship level.
Although the days are evil and satan wins a few skirmishes, You have already won the war. You are the Victor. May we always be on YOUR side. May we walk in a state of repentance. Because our land needs revival, but we know it will not come without the broken and contrite heart that turns to the Lord in repentance. first!
